Hello!
My name is Laura, and I’m a French travel blogger 🇫🇷 🙂
For more than ten years, travel has been at the center of my life and my work. Over the years, I’ve mainly explored Europe and North America, with a special chapter of my life spent living in Montreal, Canada, where I stayed for two years.
That experience deeply shaped the way I travel today — slower, more curious, and always attentive to the atmosphere of a place rather than just its highlights. I started sharing my journeys on my French travel blog, Laura en Voyage, where I write about the places that moved me, surprised me, or simply made me feel good.
Today, some destinations have become more than just places I visit. Venice and New York City are, in many ways, my two homes. I return to them again and again, always discovering something new.
But I also have a deep affection for Mediterranean countries (Spain, Italy, Sardinia…) and northern countries (Scotland, Iceland, Quebec…) whose landscapes and atmosphere resonate strongly with me.

Why an English travel blog?
In late 2025, when I was in my thirties, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
My whole world suddenly shifted.
I couldn’t travel as often anymore, and the treatments I was going through were demanding and exhausting. I wasn’t able to produce as much content, and spending long hours writing became difficult.
So one day, I had an idea…
What if I opened my content to the world? And adapt my existing content into a language that speaks to the whole world? 🌎
This is the birth of Travel With Laura!

Travel and share with authenticity
Everything you read here is based on my own experiences.
My content is never sponsored, and I don’t publish paid articles or promotional content. I only write about places I have personally visited and genuinely want to share. This allows me to stay completely independent in my recommendations and honest in what I share.
You’ll also notice that this site doesn’t rely on intrusive advertising. I’ve always believed that a travel website should remain pleasant to read, without banners or pop-ups interrupting the experience.
To support my work, some links on the site are affiliate links. This means I may earn a small commission if you book through them — at no extra cost to you. It’s a simple way to support my work while allowing me to keep the content free, independent, and accessible to everyone.

I don’t travel to check destinations off a list.
I travel to understand places, to feel their rhythm, and to come back with stories worth telling.
If my experiences can inspire you, help you plan your own trips, or simply make you dream for a few minutes, then this blog has already fulfilled its purpose.
Welcome to Travel with Laura ♥︎
